Why the Meth Registry Doesn’t Work

Here is a spectacular collection of stories from WTVF’s Ben Hall showing Tennessee’s meth registry system is broken.

Meth criminals are supposed to be blocked from buying ingredients. The County clerk is supposed to notify the state’s bureau of investigation. The TBI is supposed to send the info to a national system of offenders. The system is broken every step of the way.

Can we suspect this broken system is broken nationwide?
